Foodies Day 2016

Foodies Day was held on Saturday, 15th October 2016.
The event featured guest presenter Tracey Bennett who is co-founder of The Exceptional Health Company

Where: Taste Venue, 45 Normanby Road, Mt Eden, Auckland

Cost: All Members of the CNA $15, Students $20, General Admission $25

Parking: Limited parking at Taste Venue, and nearby street parking

We are very pleased to announce that our presenter this year is Tracey Bennett, co-founder of The Exceptional Health Company

Six years ago, Tracey and Jason Bennett co-founded The Exceptional Health Company based on sheer demand in their community from people wanting to improve their heath and vitality.  Tracey is a self-educated Wholefood Chef who is passionate about creating, enjoying and sharing delicious, nourishing plant based food with others.  As a working mother of four Tracey knows just how important it is to create simple meals that taste fantastic and don’t demand too much of you.  She takes great pleasure in sharing her love of food with others and is currently teaching 8-week Plant Based Cooking Courses called ‘Discover Your Inner Chef’ in her community as well as presenting Sunday afternoon workshops on divine, decadent desserts!

With Spring around the corner, we are lucky to have Tracey coming to present to us her brand new ‘Scrumptious Summer Salads’ workshop.  This workshop will go beyond the green salad and teach us how to use grains, pulses, nuts and other gorgeous ingredients to create substantial and delicious salads that can often be a meal in themselves.  From rice, to quinoa, to sorghum and more, there will be something for all your taste buds at this fun, interactive demonstration.

A message from Tracey…..

“Food, glorious food. Don’t you just love it?!  I certainly do. I want to feel fantastic and do the best for my body but I’m not willing to give up my favourite foods to do that!  I have discovered the key to creating exceptional plant-based meals that will bring health, vitality and longevity and taste sensational and I would love share my recipes with you!”

Workshop attendees will receive recipes and generous tasting samples.
